The award was announced during a high-profile pitching event in Hangzhou, China.
About the Global AgriInno Challenge
The Global AgriInno Challenge is a flagship innovation competition co-organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and Zhejiang University (ZJU), designed to empower youth-led agritech startups and innovators. The 2025 theme—“Harnessing Emerging Technologies and Digital Public Infrastructure for Sustainable Agrifood Systems”—encourages transformative digital solutions that enhance climate resilience, supply chain efficiency, and nutritional security, while addressing global digital, gender, and rural divides
Finalist teams, selected through a rigorous process, were invited to an intensive Innovation for Good program and pitched their solutions at the final event in Hangzhou on 27–29 August 2025
