
SafeSip Selected for Prestigious HEET Project Student Innovation Support at Mzumbe University
Mzumbe, Tanzania – May 5, 2025 – SafeSip is proud to announce its selection for the highly competitive Student Innovation Support Program under the Higher Education for Economic Transformation (HEET) Project, hosted by Mzumbe University. The initiative is part of a national effort to empower student-led startups and foster innovation that supports Tanzania’s economic transformation agenda.
As part of the program, SafeSip will participate in an intensive capacity-building training from May 19th to 24th, 2025, held at the Innovation Incubation Centre, Mzumbe University Main Campus. The training will focus on ideation, bootcamping, and strategic development, equipping participants with vital entrepreneurial and innovation skills.

The HEET Project, funded by the World Bank and implemented by Tanzania’s Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology, is a strategic investment in the future of Tanzanian higher education and innovation.
