SafeSip Awarded 2nd Place in ClimateLaunchpad 2025 Mini Accelerator
Morogoro, Tanzania — April 30, 2025 – SafeSip, a pioneering Tanzanian social enterprise committed to clean water access, has been awarded 2nd Place in the ClimateLaunchpad 2025 Mini Accelerator, an international program supported by Irish Aid and organized by EIT Climate-KIC.
The recognition follows SafeSip’s participation in a competitive accelerator focused on climate entrepreneurship, impact measurement, access to finance, and climate adaptation strategies. The SafeSip team impressed the jury with its pitch on affordable, electricity-free ultrafiltration systems designed to combat waterborne diseases in rural and agricultural communities, including the poultry sector.
“This award is a proud milestone for our team and a strong validation of our mission to improve health outcomes through sustainable water innovation,” said Faith Kuya, Founder and CEO of SafeSip. “The accelerator was truly transformative and gave us tools to refine our strategy and scale our impact.”
Alongside a €300 cash prize, SafeSip will be featured on the ClimateLaunchpad global blog, sharing its journey and vision with a worldwide audience of climate innovation stakeholders.
