Otaigo Elisha

Otaigo Elisha is a Tanzanian environmental economist and social entrepreneur dedicated to sustainable innovation and youth empowerment. As Co-Founder and COO of NovFeed, he leads the development of biotechnology solutions that convert organic waste into high-protein fish feed, addressing food security and environmental challenges. His work earned NovFeed the prestigious Milken-Motsepe Prize in AgriTech. With over eight years of experience in agriculture value chains and ecosystem services, Otaigo has collaborated with organizations such as USAID and IITA, and served as a district economist for the Government of Tanzania. As a mentor for SafeSip, Otaigo brings a wealth of knowledge in sustainable development and entrepreneurship, guiding young innovators to create impactful solutions. His commitment to fostering innovation and leadership continues to inspire the next generation of changemakers.
